JOB DESCRIPTION:
Build various software processes and automation systems for machine-based technologies. The principal job duties and responsibilities include:
• Analyze, design, and develop new automation systems and business platforms or modify existing systems
• Build out and support IT aspects of Internet-of-Things (IoT) environments including lab, Edge Computing, data center and Cloud based environments that support IoT and IIOT.
• Evaluate IoT and IIOT technologies and influence technical strategy to integrate IT and OT environments the Production Plants.
• Test software development methodology in an agile environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, systems analysts, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and other relevant information.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to solve complex problems, enhance technology and existing systems, and consistently apply best practices.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Education/Experience Type:
The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related and 36 months of experience in related occupations. Must have 3 years of experience building and deploying APIs on software/SCADA/GUI system for integration with websites. Must have 3 years of experience working on cloud server for SCADA/ GUI applications. Must have 3 years of experience deploying ignition SCADA projects on cloud and integration with databases like MSSQL, MySQL and PLCs. Must have 3 years of experience deploying and maintaining services on cloud (Google and Amazon). Must have 3 years of experience in Structured Language Programming ( STL) for Industrial/ Commercial Automation projects.
Expertise required: Minimum 3 yrs.
